Choc chip walnut cookies
Serves: 16
  • 100 g softened unsalted butter
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g self raising flour
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g dark choc chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius, and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix together the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy and light in colour.
  3. Beat in the egg.
  4. Sift in the flour and add the walnuts and chop chips. Mix thoroughly til all the mixture is combined.
  5. Place small spoonfuls on the tray.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Cool on a wire rack.
